Lotta Takala-Greenish

Dr Lotta Takala-Greenish is a senior lecturer at the University of the West of England. She holds PhD Economics (SOAS), MSc. Economics (SOAS) and MSc. Management (LSE) degrees from the University of London. Her research interests are in fieldwork-led academic or policy work with a focus on national and regional industrialisation, industrial policy, and the informalisation and casualisation of labour. Other areas of research include trade, technology, privatisation, as well as methodological debates. She currently teaches undergraduate ‘Applied Economics’, ‘International Trade’ and ‘Economic Issues for International Business’ at UWE. She previously taught ‘Microeconomics of Industrial and Trade Policy’ and ’Research Methods’ as well as managed the EU-funded Economic Policies in the Age of Globalisation (EPOG) dual degree at the University of the Witwatersrand.
