Stefania Paredes Fuentes
University of Warwick
I am Associate Professor at the University of Warwick, teaching Macroeconomics 1; Economics of Money and Banking and Applied Macroeconomics
My research is on the colonial and non-colonial origins of Latin American institutions and inequality and what causes growth to accelerate and collapse in Latin America.
At the moment, I am working on two research projects. One looks into how a 'human rights approach' in Economics and economic policy can benefit the economy in general and workers in particular.
My second project, look at how we can create a more inclusive environment in Economics departments in the UK, to close the attainment and satisfaction gap by female and international students.
I am an Associate of the Economics Network.
